April (Spring has finally sprung!!) idea!!

Hey, y'all, So, I've been thinking a bit about what book to write next. Right now, my main motive with writing is to finish the poetry book I've been working on. It has my poems from now since I first started writing poetry when I was either eleven or twelve years of age. The poetry is all expressionistic, emotional, amusing, and very inspirational poetry about God, family, friends, true love, and animals. Once I finish my maximum count of poems of 60-70 poems, (and if I write a poem a week this shouldn't be too hard, since I only have 12 or so poems left), then I will finish editing the poems and go on to finish editing the books I have written over the years. Because it occurred to me that with everything going on in real life right now, my heart is just not into writing a brand new book no matter how tempting that may appear. Nope. If I finish this poetry book and God willing, write another one, then finish editing and publishing the books I've written up until now, that would work out just fine. I've been wondering on if God wants me to stop writing books so I can concentrate on just writing poetry and finishing with editing everything else. What do you guys think?? Well, that's Plan A. Plan B would be to just take some time off of writing books for a while. Both are similar in their own ways. On the other hand, at my apartment I have this small stack of notebook stories that have never been typed. I could also, of course, finish typing and editing those ones (the ones that are print-worthy anyway, haha) while working on poems. This plan won't be that much work. I can continue to edit my other books as I please, extremely similar to Emily Dickinson toward the end of her life. As her life drew to a close, she edited her poems to her complete sense of perfection, even though, pathetically, some of her poems were ruined by critics multiple years later. Thankfully, in this day and age, everyone loves Dickinson's poetry exactly how she made them. I want it to be a similar experience for me, y'all. How I edit my books shall be exactly like that. October Bash~

Hey, y'all,

Long time no speak!! I've been real busy with school, work, & home stuff and haven't had time to come on here. I probably wouldn't have posted anything for September anyway, because writing has been so slow!!

I finished "Promised." All that is left is editing, and who knows when that will get done. Only God knows, really. I postponed writing "Stay Alive," because I'm not that interested in writing it yet. I tried writing a story called "Life As We Know It," but I'm not real sure where to go with it from here. I also am half finished writing a book called "Home To You," but I haven't had time to really think about what else I could put in besides the 60-some pages I've already written. I HAVE, however, been reading a lot. I opt to read at least one chapter every morning before breakfast. It works pretty well, because then I can start my days off better that way. In fact, reading over my morning coffee--or in this case, morning breakfast--has always been a mini-dream of mine.

But anyway, any book ideas would be appreciated. The most I've been writing lately are school papers, if anything, and we all know how boring those can be. I read the book "Avalon High" by Meg Cabot twice. It's a superb book, and I highly recommend it!! So if you get some spare time, check out your local bookstore and rent it or buy it!! Whatever comes first, really. My sister recommended it to me, and now there's a movie of it coming out in the fall!! I'm so excited, besides Part 1 of Harry Potter 7 coming out at the end of November, of course!! :) I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. Not as big as I am a fan of God, but anyway, that's pretty much all the book news I have lately!! God bless and take care, y'all!! Hey, y'all!!

How is everybody today? First, let me say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!! :) WHOO-HOO!!

Okay, I'm done. :) My fourth of July rocked. I had family who came down to my new apartment and celebrated with me. On Saturday I moved in, and boy, was it a hot one!!

But enough of that. Remember "Montana"? Well, I decided to write my very first screenplay of that book, because I really don't know what I'm doing anyways. So far, it's working out pretty good. As a screenwriter, and I'm pretty sure so far that this is going to be my one and only screenplay ever, I am just copying and rewriting the screenplay from its original version. That way, if anyone ever wants to make it into a movie in the future, they'll know how long it should be and what all needs to be put in. The directors and producers will just have to look at how the screenplay version was written! I hope that they will like if that ever happens, if it's God will.

In the mean time, I'm still working on my other books off and on. I feel like I never have time to write anymore, but then I do. I guess it's just hard to explain. Life circumstances happen, and you either write or you don't. A lot of the time, I write just to keep myself sane. It's not always fun, but then it is. It takes your mind off things and lets your mind wander to a world where you don't exist except to plan out the days and futures of your characters by whatever writing design God our Heavenly Father places in our minds. If it wasn't for God, we would never have anywhere to go in life.

By the way, all people out there, Jesus Christ wants a relationship with you, not just to worship Him, love Him, and respect Him. He wants you to have a relationship with you that is not exactly religious when it's just between you and Him. You read the Word to know His replies, and you pray to Him to cast your burdens on Him. Then, He will give you the desires of your heart and everything you truly need in this life. I just wanted to take a moment to say that. As always, I hope people continue to read my blog. If you ever have any questions regarding my books or God in general, since my writing would truly be nowhere without Him, feel free to comment!! I would be most happy to answer any question you have, as long as they are appropriate. :)

I really have nothing else to talk about right now. But let me leave you with this cool quote from "Princess Diaries." I think it's inspirational and so truth: "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather, the understanding that something is more important than fear."

June, Be My Sunshine~

So!! Big changes happening in the next couple months. Yeppers! While I'm living my life for God in unexpected, sometimes bizzarre, and life-changing ways, there have been a lot of book changes. On my last monthly blog, I talked about my new book "Living On A Prayer." Still super excited about it. Half of it is nearly done. Sometimes I write the last half of the book first so I can figure out the first half later. Doesn't always happen, but anyway, that's what I did in this case. Now that I am doing that, I have TWO MORE story ideas in my head.

The first story idea is not really an idea. I've had the story on a disk drive before, and I still do, but I want to dramatically change it. I want to make it longer, more dramatic, and add more story and plot to it. Plus change some of the characters' names. Yep. The book is called "Stay Alive." It's about two teenagers who run away from home to this orphanage. Things turn violent and rather nasty there, so these two main characters--Jeff and Carlene--run away in the cold and frigid winter wilderness of Canada. They find a cave in the middle of the wilderness near the far edge of Canada, way up there by the Northwestern Territories. I've never had a setting like that before, so for me it's going to be kind of cool. Along the way, Jeff teaches Carlene about faith and love, because of course they have to get together!! But along the way, they learn lessons in their own lives. Besides lessons of love and faith, they face multiple challenges. For one, they're actually hiding from the violent and mean staff at the orphange hours away, so they have to stay in or around that cave and wait until they are rescued, even though there's no way they can contact anybody. They don't have phones or anything. Other challenges include learning to hunt, catching what they hunt, taking care of themselves, and facing wild animals such as cougars and grizzly bears. So, yeah, this book is really going to be interesting.

In the mean time, I have this other story idea, yet I'm still not sure where it will go yet or if it will even go anywhere. God Himself planted this idea in my head, so it's pretty much His decision. :) Anyway, the book is called "Risk Is Everything," although that may not be the official title yet. I've only thought of this book idea the other day or so. Anyways, the book will be about two characters. One character is a rock band leader named Tyson Grant. The other character is Callie Sinclair. I'm not completely sure about everything yet, but one idea for the plot is for the book to start up immensely about Tyson's life leading up to the prologue where the scene shows him fainting before being about to sing and ending up in the ambulance. I will let you next month, hopefully, on how that idea is coming along.

Since it's summer and there's not a lot of stuff to do besides main plans God has wonderfully made for my family, friends, and I, I have also been re-looking over books I've written in the past. If anybody has any ideas for an agent, please let me know by commenting on my blog ASAP. Please. I don't really have time to look for one right now, and I need one for my books. I am thinking about editing one particular book (maybe, not a sure thing yet) for a publishing company. But again, it's not a sure thing yet. However, I have complete faith in God above that He will let me know what to do in good time. :)

Well, that's all I have to say for this month. Oh, the 29th will be my birthday, so be sure to send a "happy birthday" if you get a chance. You can just remember and praise me silently, too, if you wish. One year older, yippee. Haha.

May Day~

Hey, y'all!!

Did I mention my new book? In the past month, I've gone through exactly three or four book ideas, getting serious about each one, until finally finding a book idea that would work and in which I can spend time writing. It's called, "Living On A Prayer." I know it's a song, so that's why I got the title idea from playing Guitar Hero. (I'm ten times better on the drums than the guitar any day.) I got the story idea partly from watching an episode from, "Wizards of Waverly Place." I know, I'm a serious sucker for Disney shows, movies, anything Disney, really. I'm a Disney freak.

But anyway, this book is about a high school couple who fight so much, hating each other's guts so much to the point that one day they realize that they don't hate each other at all. They're in love with each other. Cool, huh? I'm trying to make the first main character, Damian, extremely annoying, so ridiculously annoying that even the readers might hate him. And then there's Sarah, who at first is far more crazy about driving him up the wall than ever having anything to do with him. But once they finally get together, Sarah mysteriously disappears when her suddenly alcoholic dad goes crazy. I cut this part from a previous book I'd wanted to write and don't want to anymore. I just wait for the good Lord to give me great book ideas. While I write the books, I think about how it would go in my head if there was a movie version of it. Who knows. Maybe every one of my books will get to be in a movie someday. Only God knows if that will happen.

But anyways again, when Sarah disappears, after two whole months of waiting for an answer, two whole months where Damian becomes a completely different person with waiting for the police to find her, he decides to find her for himself. That journey brings them both on an inspirationally, emotional, and hopefully unforgettable journey. Not to be too corny about it, but the show must go on. The good Lord gave me this gift, and I'm eternally grateful for it. :D

It's finally May, though!! Everybody enjoy the spring weather! It's raining where I live right now. :)

April Flowers~~

Heloooooooo. How are you all doing today? Decided to write in Italics.

Well!! What an Easter. Hope you all had a fun Easter. I love re-learning the stories of Christ, Easter, and His blessed resurrection. It never gets old, and it never should get old anyway.

I have writer's block right now. Remember that book series I was talking about? Well, lately, I am wondering if I should even finish writing the oldest sister's story or if I should make it the shortest book of the entire series. What are any of your thoughts or opinions on the matter?

I have a new book idea and I can't wait to write it, which is probably why I can't finish the "Strange Stuff" book series just yet. Don't you hate that, writers out there? I know someone who has thirty plus book ideas, and I have no idea how she can be able to have so many ideas bottled up in her head, even though she has them all written down. The book idea is about five friends, similar to "Montana," although it is mainly about four guys and a girl who have been together since kindergarten. The girl is quiet and shy and her name is Anna. Her friends' names are Will, Tommy, Sam, and David. Will and Anna fall in love with one another while Tommy, David, and Sam live out their own lives meanwhile. Tommy's father is chief of police in their small town of Lincoln, Montana (a setting I mostly always use, because I love it so much, haha) and he's having trouble dealing with that. David is a big goof, which causes his grades to fluctuate. Sam is another goof, but has problems of his own that no one knows about including his friends. Will is quite series about Anna, and vice versa with Anna toward Will. However, when Anna's abusive and semi-alcoholic stepfather takes his wife and stepdaughter out of the country with no sign to their wherabouts or anything, the four friends David, Sam, Will, and Tommy are on a suddenly desperate quest to find Anna and bring her home. Meanwhile, their lives completely and dramatically change, and they come to realize just how important Anna really is in their lives. :) Doesn't that sound just plain awesome?? I'm thinking it will be 200-300 some pages, because I have a lot planned. And since there's also life, school, and work for me, I pretty much have to decide if and when I should finish the last book of the "Strange Stuff" series. Otherwise, I'm afraid my new idea book called "Closer To Them" could diminish over time or something. :( I haven't started it yet, of course.

March Fun~

Hey!!

Waz up, folks?? Well, amidst trying to finish my last two books of the "Strange Stuff" series (I have at least 133 pgs left in both), I tried to whack my brain thinking of good topics of books I could write about. In the past, I have written books about numerous high school couples. You can see all my book topics--well, most of them anyway--on my website. "Healing Bridges" and "Montana" are great examples of high school students who have fallen in love, along with "Good Friend Mack," "The Sacrifice," and "March Home." Those two I'm pretty sure aren't listed on my website. I'm just giving y'all examples.

I have written historical fiction. "Queen Beth" is an 18th century historical fiction book about a countess of Cumberland who is destined to become queen of England to save her family from debt and other things. "Baby, Forever," was written in the 20th century in Germany during the Holocaust where an American journalist, Clara Franklin, falls in love with a Polish Jew. I have written a book from the future where an elderly woman is in the care center reflecting upon her past life. That book is called, "Things That Don't Happen Every Day."

I've written about a wealthy couple who were forced into an arranged marriage in "Great Kentucky." I've written about best friends falling in love in "Boyd," "Good Friend Mack," and "Life With Guardian Angels." I've written books about characters in trouble with the law in "Time and Tide" and "Milton Bridge." I've written two book series, one about six brothers and the other about five sisters (two books from which I'm almost finished). I don't want to write poems or short stories, because I've written enough of those in my opinion. The two series of books I worked on are all funny, and pretty much every other book I've written has funny and God-oriented stuff in them.

So now I'm clueless. Because of the Olympics, I thought about writing about a skater from Russia and a want-to-be skater from America with a tragic past, but I thought that would be too easy. I thought about writing about an American artist who goes to Japan and falls in love, but I thought that would imitate a particular movie too much. I thought about writing about other stuff, too, but nothing ever really fits like all the other books I've already written. I at least have to finish the two current books I'm working on before deciding about other book topics. However, maybe God is trying to tell me to take a break or something. Or maybe He's trying to tell me something else. Or maybe He wants me to finish my two books before thinking about further topics. That would be the best idea for the moment.

If you have any ideas, please feel free to share them with me. But I have written topics as moral as possible with chracters who have pasts with as moral as possible. I thought about writing that Triangle Factory Fire story, but was too scared to. Thought I would get nightmares and all that. So I don't know. I can hardly go a week without writing for at least a half an hour per week. So I will finish the books, and if God wants me to write more, I will. But I really don't think I've had this much of a blank mind before, especially when it comes to book topics. A few times I've been known to put other books on hold from finishing them if I'm really excited or too excited about a new book topic. I don't know, but that's never really worked for me. I actually just want to finish my books, even if they are both not completely edited, just so I can start a new book and finally be done with the series. Not that it's annoying. I've actually written the endings already. I just need to write the middle parts.

Well! Wish me luck! When I do finish the two current books (and I WILL), if I can't think of anything, I'll just start from scratch. Or I'll just write a short crazy poem or short story. I'll think of something, and God will help me out. :) So again, wish me luck! Until next month, keep loving life and God with all your hearts!! TTYL!!

February, February~

Hey, y'all!! Long time no speak!! :)

While I sit here pondering what to say in my monthly blog, I am watching "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" besides dreading to read "Light In August" by William Faulkner. I'm taking a Faulkner / Joyce college course, so there's tons of reading and little time for a better social life, knitting, and writing. Oh, I have time to write papers for classes, but when it comes to wanting to finish the final two books of my "Strange Stuff" series--Olivia and Allison's stories--I never have time. Even on weekends, especially the last few weekends.

Why don't I have time on weekends? My family and I are officially in lambing season, and it's been a lot of hard work but a lot of fun so far this season!! :) So far we've had at least 14 healthy lambs. Two more ewes are yet to have their babies. God willing, they will have them soon and maybe I'll get to see some more being born this weekend. That's always exciting.

Since I last wrote in here--a LONG time ago it feels like, I had just ended Christmas vacation. Sad. But anyway, ha, I've been reading a lot of books, so it wouldn't do any good to tell you how I've been on the same two books I've been writing for two months now or the list of books I've read since you've last read this blog. I am going to say that lately in my life I feel like I'm making some definite life-changing decisions where God is always there helping me along. I don't want to grow up, but I think I need some change-of-heart methods. Methods to change some issues deep in my heart. Personal issues that I just want to announce on here apparently. But I know and trust that with God, I can do anything and will be able to do anything. Please continue to pray for us. Also, please pray for more healthy lambs if it be God's will, and that my family and I will make God-pleasing life decisions. I hope to get to writing for fun soon, because I miss it so much. It really stinks logs (decided to throw that in, ha) when you can't do one of your passions. Hopefully this weekend, I will be able to catch up on piano playing and knitting and spending some time with family and animals. Then, after this week, God willing, I will get to writing again. It's so frustrating, but I trust that God knows what He's doing to wherever He's leading me and all of us. :) Each one of us is a child of God. Don't ever forget that. :)

New Month~

So. I don't know what I should write anymore. I mean, really. As soon as I get writer's block

on one thing, another story pops into my head! It's so annoying.

So anyway, the story that is currently in my head will hopefully stay in my head. Because

I really like it! Yeah! It's gonna be called, "Strange Stuff," cuz I couldn't really think of a

grander title. AND, it will be something I haven't written before. It will be a story about a nerd

named Milo who is not good-looking at all and who falls in love with one of the best looking girls

in the grade. I am going to try to make this a very funny story, however. Milo's new friends will be

funny, Milo's mom will be funny, Milo will be pretty sarcastic himself, and the girl he falls in love,

Skyler, will be in love with him. Her sisters, though, will be the funniest. Their names are Addision,

Carlie Mae, Meg, and Olivia. Yep, she will have four sisters. Milo's friends names will be Bernie,

Andy, and Alec. Oh, and Andy's girlfriend, Nadia. Now you might not think this is

funny so far. But it will be. Hopefully.

In the mean time, I don't know what I am going to do about the other books I had planned to write.

You know, those two other series? God willing, I will figure it out eventually. BUT, I can't exactly

decide everything about them right now. My life is just too hectic at the moment, although strangely I

still make time to write books and read novels. Some people even make fun of the novels I read,

because they are mainly Christian-romance-based. But everybody's style of reading is different. Don't

get me wrong. I like all kinds of books, really. My favorites are ones that had to do with Christian-romance.

BUT, I have read a horror book before. It was a Stephen King book called "Christine." I'm never going to

read another of his books again. But some of my other favorites are "Little Women," the whole Twilight saga,

the whole Harry Potter series, and some historical novels that are also Christian-romance. I have read the whole

series of Laura Ingalls Wilder books, and some others in between like the old Sweet Valley High Books.

Boy, those books take me back. I remember, when I was growing up, reading them on the long bus rides we had.

They were so intriguing and awesome. Maybe one day I will get back to reading some more of them, or re-reading them.

Oh, and I also loved any Patricia MacLachlan books. My favorites from there are anything from the Sarah, Plain and Tall

series, and "Baby." Oh, what an awesome book. I also have yet to read the Friendship Ring series. My goal

is to read every one of those. I have two at home and I love them so much.

Sooo, now you know my favorite kind of books!

New Series~

Hellooooooooooooo. :)

So, apparently my mind is going haywire these days. It can't decide what series to actually write. But that's okay, because I am trusting in God to let me know in His own timing. I don't know if I announced this or anything, but I had a series going for a little while. At first I had been so proud of it. All I had was a four-book series about four ladies in a town called Skyler Hut, Montana. For a long while, after writing about forty pages in two different pages, I got severe writer's block. So right now they are saved in my email drafts, because I really don't know what else to write in them yet. I was planning on making these books 224 pages, since that's the amount of pages the publisher I have in mind needs them to be in length. I wanted these books to be hilarious and very enjoyable. It's kind of hard when the dialogue doesn't spring out of your head so easily on paper like some authors are blessed with. I wish I could be more like that. Any ideas?
Well, until I decide what to do with that series, I decided to work on another series, or try to. So far it's been going pretty well. And you know with me having one more year of college and having such a busy life...whew. Between getting all that homework down through the already mush that is my brain, a writer such as myself needs to keep writing to keep myself alive, even if coffee won't do it haha.
So! I came up with a series of my own. You see, I don't know if you call it a blessed talent or a dark talent when you bring a Christian story, or stories, out like this. My first book of the decided series I already wrote, is about an escaped, angry convict kidnapping a woman because she'd witnessed him and his friends (also part of the series) in her hometown park. She later gets together with him, and the second book is years later when the second mean guy of the gang gets freed from prison to enjoy the start of his new-Christian life. Two more will follow. All these guys' names are Jack, Mack, (go ahead and laugh, but that's his nickname) Roland and Todd. Todd is the quiet guy who had lost his wife when she was mysteriously murdered. He'd gone to prison for killing the couple whom he'd thought had murdered his wife when it had really been someone else already in prison. Mack had killed his father and three other guys, and Roland had been a criminal all his life. Jack had killed two people he'd thought had murdered his sister, and in the first book they had all been on the run in this RV to help Jack kill the two guys who actually had.
Whew! Wish me luck, because so far it's been going pretty well. I hate writer's block, though, so I truly hope I won't have it again anytime soon. My plan is to write a half hour every day because of my busy weekdays. But since today is Saturday, haha, I will definitely write longer than that. Hopefully. Brain, please work today. Thank you.

Start of Senior College Year~

Heloooo.
Been a while, hasn't it?
Well, first I'd like to say that I have a new series coming soon that I am working on. I am planning for it to be a hilarious, silly but real-life romance-Christan stories. God willing, I will be able to hear from a publisher on that matter soon. I plan to have one publisher company for my romance-Christan books, and another for the books that don't fit in that publishing company. God willing.
So anyway, the series will be called "Skyler Hut" series, consisting of four books. Skyler Hut, Montana is a totally made-up town, but I wanted it to sound silly. The first book is about a silly fishing supplies shop owner woman named Lena who still loves her neighbor, "friend" and ex-boyfriend Rod.
The second is about a ceramic shop owner named Jayla meeting Japan fellow Jiro.
The third is about bookstore owner Beth falling for librarian Slade.
And finally, the fourth will be of pizza shop owner Penny falling for town sheriff Jaxon.

The start of senior year in college has not quite kicked in yet. So far, I've been learning a lot and constantly praying that God's will to be done. He's the one in control of everything, after all. And in the classes that I dread, I need extra courage and strength to get through them. Plus, I've been a bit disappointed with life lately, so God willing, it will all get better by His direction only. Please pray for me, and that would be really appreciated! :)
Today's a Saturday, and that means a boring day of washing clothes, finishing with reading the latest paperback novel I'm reading--which is really good by the way--making a time to see my relatives tomorrow for church hopefully, and getting started on some homework. Maybe.
By the way, I decided not to write that "New York" book. It was much too scary for my taste, and because I knew how it would probably end, it kept me totally from writing any more of it. I'm not much of a traditional writer anyway, like writing in that sort of decade for the United States. I like modern life much better, despite how the economy is coming along. But God is in control of everything, and even though it may seem a bit disheartening now, I trust that in His good time, everything will be able to easily work out. Yep.

Month of July~

Hey, y'all! 

Here I am at work eating my lunch, and thinking about how great people are. J. K. Rowlling, for example, was obviously a fantastic author. Look how fabulous the Harry Potter movies have become because of her books. I wish I had a brain like hers to write. This month on either July 15th or the 17th, not sure which date since I have one or the other dates; but anyway, on this date, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is coming out. My sisters and I are so excited to see it. It's truly going to be a work of art. I am reading the book of it right now. I haven't read the other books, since I've seen all the movies and my sisters have explained everything. But this book is definitely going to tempt me to read the last one for sure, and maybe even the rest of them sometime in the future, despite me knowing what happens in all five of them. Personally for me, I can't wait to see what will happen between Ron and Hermione. I am definitely fans of those two, and even the actor and actress portraying them. I am very excited for the movie, and I think you should all know that. 

My mom, cousin, and sisters are lately at the county fair right now. We go every year, and I'd been a f-4-H-er for several years, but retired from it a few years ago. I am now a 4-H alumni, and get excited to see my sisters and cousin do their sheep shows every year. It is definitely fun, except I'm left doing all the chores at home when they're busy camping out at the fair. I think that's required. But anyways, I do all the chores. It's not that hard of work, although I dread it only because it takes a bit to get everything done. God willing, I won't have to chase our jumping sheep ewe all over the barn. She is obsessed with eating, so she sails gates and fences like nothing. If we're lucky, she leaves the pens alone, especially if she and her ewe friends are in the pasture eating. But once she's inside with the rest of them, I better darn well make sure that the pen I daily feed, that door, is always closed. Which is a bummer, because that way, the lambs in the pen don't get much sunshine. I'm hoping that'll change in the future most definitely, because of course they love the outdoors. 

So, I'd ask again if y'all please pray for this ewe to be somehow reckoned with, and that the job I have with chores, including some household chores, to be easy for me until the rest of the clan gets back Sunday evening. I am definitely praying and hoping myself.

Hey, everybody. Well, we're getting more lambs. Our latest addition is ewe Yo-Yo's twin boys Carl and Eddie. I'd post pictures, but I need to get them on the digital camera, and that's a lot of work. I just don't have time for that right now. But as soon as I do, I'll get them on here or on Facebook. So HA if you don't have a Facebook account. Maybe now is the time to get one.

Just kidding.

My week has been very busy. Each professor I have at college seems to think that I'm going to have time for all that reading for the class, plus reading for fun, plus watching my favorite TV shows, plus writing my books, plus reading the Bible. That's a lot to squeeze in one week, let along a day! But I keep plugging along, neglecting homework as usual and dreading to finish the latest book I'm reading for fun. I have like three hundred pages left, so maybe I'll finish it in March during spring break. I also have about 8 books left to read. They're not that long, only 200 pages at the most. But I wanna READ!! 

Beyond all that, I read the paper, do crosswords to again neglect homework, and today I have an appointment so I won't be going to 2 classes. HA! 

Please comment and let me know how I can be able to get all this done better. Maybe I need to stop thinking about the terrifying movie that I watched in one of my classes. Bad stuff in there. 

Well anyways...wish me luck. I'm already surprised I had time to write in here!

Change of Mind? or Heart....

All right, I changed my mind about writing about the Triangle Fire in 1911. I wasn't enjoying my writing, and shouldn't

a writer enjoy writing something instead of dread it? I thought about that, and decided that the whole story would also be

way too sad to let someone die at the end when throughout the whole story it's an optimistic and romantic time!

So, I decided to write something different, and I'm actually excited about it. It's about the college life, and this couple

are college seniors. One of the protagonists, Ava McDonnell, discovers from her family that they think she's not happy

in life. At hearing this, she tells her friend Glenda that she needs to maybe choose a best friend to hang out with, and maybe

she'll be happier than, even though she thinks she is happy. Glenda doesn't know what to do with her, but lets her pick

this random guy named Jack Collins in the library to be her best friend. She makes a good choice, because Jack's humor and sarcasm

about life, his constant wit and making her laugh help her eventually discover that this might be more than just friendship.

The problem is, Jack has adored Ava from afar, and she doesn't even know it. He wants to choose her as more than a best friend,

especially since she's been dreaming about finding her one true love since age thirteen.

Should I let you guys know how the story works out? I'm excited about it, and if y'all ever get on my blog,

I'd appreciate you telling me your thoughts.

Characters:

Jake Collins-28-producer of the ad agency, relies on his secretary for errands & stuff, such as getting his coffee and doughnuts, etc.

Tessa Martin-26-secretary of the ad agency, very sarcastic, and is dating Jake's colleague, whom he's jealous of.

This story will be about a secretary and her boss who like to argue and fight a lot, although they hardly notice that they seem to spend too much time together in the small town of Lincoln, Montana. But Tessa's new boyfriend does, and brings them together.

Any Ideas??

I'm trying to figure out some new topics for books, but the more I think of ideas, the more they do not appeal to me for some odd reason. So if anybody has any ideas, I would be happy to try them out. So just let me know!!
Here are the topics I have come up with so far:
-book about a shy ballet girl who falls in love with a guy who's obese and has loved her for a few years, ever since she's moved there. the story will center around how it's important to not look on the outside of a person, but on the inside, and that love can happen to anyone.
-book about an Olympics basketball player who falls for a small-town girl who had been one of his biggest fans.
-book about a handicapped girl who falls in love with a tough guy at the high school, and he learns to not be such a bully.

New LI Series

Currently I am working on a Love Inspired series of books. It'll be about 12 people total, six books, six different men and women. The women and men have all become friends in some way, and I am going to save the best for last. Here are the names of the characters:
*Tracy & Taylor Rudd
*Jack & Whitney Anders
*Mike & Joyce Jenson
*Katherine & Nolan Townsend
*Ava & Chris Schulman
*Justin & Jessie Kramer

Taylor & Tracy's story is about a doctor and a kindergarten teacher. Tracy Johnson can't trust a man again after her sister married her high school boyfriend six years before, although hadn't seen or spoken to her sister in 10 years. Taylor is determined to make things right again for Tracy, but would he end up regretting his decision?

Jack & Whitney's story is about a carpenter and an RN. Whitney Williams lost her ex-husband to a divorce after they lost their infant son to stillbirth. And now she realizes she's falling for the carpenter hired to redo her shed after a tornado. But can she be able to tell Jack the truth when they begin to grow closer than she'd ever imagined?

Mike & Joyce's story is about a fun-loving chef & a carpenter. When Joyce Martin comes to help him redo his house roof, Mike finds himself in a position where he's never been. The red-haired spitfire of a woman is annying but sentimental, and Mike has never been one to get serious about something. Would it different this time?

Nolan & Katherine's story is about a quiet farmer who falls in love with Katherine Rockwell, a woman who with her three-month old daughter has been running from her abusive ex-husband. The last thing Nolan wants is another nuisance, but he himself is running from his past. He soon finds himself wanting to make a home for both the woman and her baby.

Chris & Ava's story is about a policeman and a Spanish artist. After seeking solace with her good friend, Ava finds herself rooming in Chris's garage apartment. But she's feared men for years, and takes solace with painting canvases. Chris has had too many failed relationships. But can he prove to the woman he's falling for that he could never even hurt a fly?

Justin & Jessie's story is about a chef & a secretary, and the last one of the series. Jessie is running from her past, and keeps her mind off of it by her faith in God, her dog, and helping her friends. But now that her friends are all married and seem to have her own lives, maybe it's time for Justin, the man who's always adored her, to change HER life.
